Oh my what a dreadful night. I had a very terrifying dream, everything was as I recall I guess past does come back to haunt us...
I woke up in the infirmary, though I recall being in the common room before that. My ribs are broken but healing, my arm is too. You can't imagine the amount of blood dripping from my nose, and god my head insists on pounding.
This is definitely unbearable, much less without company, may I enquire after my friends? How are you all doing? Has somebody got time for a visit? I am most bored. |

I've been wasting too much of my time here, by having fun around, making too much unpleasant acquaintances. I do not wish to follow this tracks. I need to make the right contacts, the appropiate impresion. I do not think it's too late. I do not wish to end up like my mother.

Oh Paris through winter is absolutely magnifiqué! Everything about La Ville Lumiere is exquisite. I'm currently having the finest expresso at Cafe de la Paix. Mother and I will go to the opera in the night, as she has some business to attend to. I hope my gifts have all found their destiny.

Lonely Christmas on Paris as usual, perhaps I should actually visit my mother. I don't know where she is staying now, though.
At least I've got all the luxury a girl could ask for, and I'm quite used to the New Eve Eiffel Tower Gala. Always impressive.

It was not one of my favorites but I haven't even got a chance to wear, not to mention it matches with dear Lockhart's gift. |

I had a lovely time at the ball, though certainly there were some disgusting displeasing encounters with certain people, all in all it was perfectly fine evening...

However I believe all this fuss comes out of some sexual represion, and just perhaps silly attempts to scare the people.

I find myself still without the proper dress, I do however have decided to break the dress code, as I see no need to tie myself to some silly imposition, when I will look perfectly suitable in any colour.
As mock of irony I was thinking in wearing black.

I am not exactly thrilled with all the holiday gibberish, but I do appreciate the idea of a dance. I'm not in love with the idea of a date, so I'll probably go on my own, and reserve the first dances, then see where it goes...
On the matter of looks, I am still looking for a convenient dress, perhaps something a little conventional would fit fine... I submit myself to the public opinion, is this too fancy?

Well, well a masquerade. Sounds interesting at least, something slightly different from all the common traditions and none sense of the season. On carols: I do not appreciate noise, you can't reach those notes, stop trying.
